Senate Republicans Defeat Reauthorization Of Jobless Aid, Tax Cuts

We have been a Plutocracy since Bush was elected to a 2nd term. I mean just look at how the GOP acts, there is no attempt made to hide the contempt they feel for Americans of modest means, NOR their ardor for the wealthy.

They are untouchabl­e, and they know it.


Nothing short of a widespread revolt will change our countries direction, and I am not sure that even that will work.


Remember how you felt when you saw that single, nameless, brave Chinese citizen stand before the Tank in Tienanmen square?

We need an internatio­nal moment of that magnitude to get the attention of the plutocrats that run our country, something to make them 'pause' and contemplat­e what would happen if 300 Million Americans ACTUALLY rose up against the status-quo­.

Anything less will just be drowned out by FOX, Talk radio and the right-wing noise machine, or our own growing impotence
