The POTUS was in my view, masterful in the way he handled a disaster in the making for the DEMS. The democratic party is in a shambles, they can't even agree on what to disagree about.
In one fell swoop, President Obama put the focus BACK where it should be, on the plight of the American people.

They couldn't , and having a fight for the sake of political purity doesn't put food on MY table, how about yours?
Many of my friends are barely eking out a living, you tack a massive tax increase on them and it will get ugly real quick.
Kudos to Obama for swallowing his pride and compromisi
