Special comments like this one is the reason KO will be off the air within a year or so. The likely incoming NBC chief is a conservative, and will not allow the like of Olbermann, Maddow or Schultz to have that much air time to push a liberal POV.
But that is precisely why we need KO, their are very few outlets for liberal views and they are shrinking daily. Fox and the conservatives will tell you "Its because the country is 'center right'" ah.. no, its because the consolidation of media has placed the vast majority of media companies into the hands of conservative interests. One has only to look at the change in the WSJ to see what has happened to American media companies.
The day is coming where the ONLY venue for liberal thought will be via the WEB, and if 'Net Neutrality" becomes law, even that will disappear.
Liberals will end up playing Edward R Murrow to Foxes Joe McCarthy, with the outcome already decided by giving nuts like Beck unlimited air time to get the message out:
"Conservative GOOD, Liberal BAD"
